Brake Repair Warranty Policy

At Buddy's Auto Repair, we stand behind the quality of our parts and workmanship. Our goal is to provide reliable brake repairs and excellent customer service. Please review the following warranty terms.

1. Warranty Coverage

 

Coverage Period

• Brake Pads & Shoes: 12 months or 12,000 miles.

• Brake Rotors & Drums: 12 months or 12,000 miles.

• Labor: 12 months or 12,000 miles.

 

What Is Covered

 

This warranty covers:

• Defects in brake parts supplied and installed by Buddy's Auto Repair.

• Workmanship related to brake repairs, including improper installation or adjustments.

 

2. Warranty Exclusions

 

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear of brake pads, shoes, rotors, or drums.

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, racing, or overloading the vehicle.

• Brake issues resulting from unrelated component failures, including but not limited to sticking brake calipers, failed wheel bearings, brake master cylinders, ABS components, or hydraulic system failures.

• Repairs or replacement parts installed by another repair facility or individual.

• Brake noise, vibration, or pulsation caused by factors unrelated to the original brake repair, including suspension or steering issues, uneven tire wear, or wheel balance concerns.

• Damage resulting from failure to properly maintain the vehicle.

• Customer-supplied or aftermarket parts not purchased through Buddy's Auto Repair.

 

3. Customer Responsibilities

 

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

• Follow the vehicle manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule.

• Contact Buddy's Auto Repair promptly if a brake-related concern develops.

• Return the vehicle to Buddy's Auto Repair for inspection before authorizing repairs elsewhere.

• Provide the original repair invoice or receipt when requesting warranty service.

 

4. Warranty Claims

 

How to Submit a Claim

1. Contact Buddy's Auto Repair to report the concern.

2. Schedule a warranty inspection with our service department.

3. Bring the vehicle to our shop for evaluation.

4. Our technicians will inspect the brake system to determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.

 

If the Claim Is Approved

Covered parts and/or labor will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

 

If the Claim Is Not Covered

We will explain our findings and provide a written estimate for any recommended repairs.

 

5. Limitations of Liability

​

• Buddy's Auto Repair is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including towing charges, rental vehicle expenses, lost wages, or loss of vehicle use, except where required by law.

• This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the brake service and is non-transferable.

 

6. Additional Information

 

Commercial & Fleet Vehicles

Commercial, fleet, and business-use vehicles may be subject to separate warranty terms as outlined in their service agreement.

This warranty is provided in addition to any applicable manufacturer warranties and does not affect any rights provided under applicable state or federal consumer protection laws.

Buddy's Auto Repair reserves the right to inspect the vehicle before approving any warranty claim. Warranty coverage is limited to defects in parts supplied by Buddy's Auto Repair and workmanship performed by our technicians.
