Warranty Coverage

Buddy’s Auto Repair guarantees that qualifying repairs we perform will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first, unless the repair is declined by Buddys Auto. The warranty period begins on the date of repair and at the mileage recorded on the repair order.

This coverage applies only under normal, non-commercial use and requires that the vehicle receive proper maintenance throughout the warranty period. The warranty may be void if the vehicle is abused, altered, neglected, or if the issue is caused by unrelated components or systems not part of the original repair.

If a covered issue arises, we may choose to repair the problem at no charge, replace the defective part(s), or reimburse pre-approved repairs completed at our facility.

This warranty is provided only to the original customer who paid for the repairs and cannot be transferred to any future owner of the vehicle.

If repair work is required outside of Buddys Auto or after business hours, any related costs for diagnostics or repairs performed at another facility are the customer's responsibility.

Covered repairs may include systems such as:

  • Heating and air conditioning systems

  • Engine cooling components

  • Engine performance and drivability

  • Emissions systems

  • Fuel and ignition systems

  • Electronic engine and vehicle control modules

  • Starting and charging systems

  • Electrical systems

  • Exhaust components

  • Steering and suspension parts, including bearings, CV joints, axles, U-joints, and driveshafts

  • Clutch hydraulic systems

 

Warranty Exclusions

Customers are responsible for any diagnostics or repairs not authorized by Buddy’s Auto Repair. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, modifications, or unauthorized tampering.

It also excludes any indirect or incidental costs such as towing, rental vehicles, lost income, or personal injury claims. Any parts or labor not listed on the original repair invoice are not covered.

Normal wear-and-tear items (such as clutch components or tires) may be excluded at our discretion. Commercial vehicles may be limited to a 12-month or 10,000-mile warranty unless otherwise stated on the invoice or covered under a service agreement.

If a repair is not covered, a diagnostic fee may apply.
